The hoard was discovered over a period of four years and includes 44 coins and 2 rings.

The most significant objects are the two gold rings, the first is a betrothal or marriage ring from Western England, the second has an unusual type of triple ring setting.

Provenance

Discovered by two metal detectorists from a field near Bowerchalke, South Wiltshire. Declared treasure in 2001.
