Four cabriole legs, with carved acanthus leaves on the knees, terminating in lion's paw feet.

The drop-in seat is covered in a modern grey-green velvet. The top rail rises above the arms with a linking scroll carving in the form of an acanthus leaf. Part of a donation of 16 gifts and 1 bequest to five museums by the Brigadier Clark Fund through the Art Fund between 1936 and 1992.
