Album of 126 original watercolours depicting insects for the work 'Genera Insectorum of Linnaeus' in which Barbut attempted to illustrate the major scientific insect groups as proposed by the naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1758.


Acquired by the Royal Entomological Society circa 1967.
