Provenance

Part of collection of antiquarian items belonging to Rolls family of Hendre, Monmouth. Was loaned to the museum (then Welsh Folk Museum) in 1949, displayed for a number of years in St Fagan's Castle on museum site; current owner is Mr J Harding-Roll
