Base plinth is carved with scenes of the 4 seasons in neo-classical style set within framing trees.

Upper section is made of a flat disc with decorative urns attached with a central sheaf of vines & grape bunches surmounted by a coronet of pine cones.

Provenance

Thought to have been purchased from the Sevres factory 1819 on behalf of Sir Harry Fetherstonhaugh of Uppark and in the house until 1970s; Wooley & Wallis, Salisbury, 1997; present owner.
