A rare 14th century panel of white marble, carved with a greyhound supporting the arms of the Cresci family.

From the collection of architectural sculpture from Morton's House, Corfe Castle, Dorset. Currently missing from the collection according to 2004 audit, possibly a war-time loss.

Provenance

Morton's House, Corfe Castle collected by the father of the vendor.
