This maiolica plate with 'bianco sopra bianco' ornament is an unusually large work showing Nicola's mature phase at its most exquisite and is on the same plane as his celebrated service for Isabella d'Este.

The centre is decorated with a scene of women gathering flowers in an idyllic landscape.
