Engraved with a portrait of the Chief Rabbi Solomon Hirschel, adapted from a painting by Frederick Benjamin Barlin at the National Portrait Gallery, and a Hebrew inscription listing occasions when wine drinking is appropriate.
Presented by Mr Richard M Norton, in celebration of his 60th birthday through the Art Fund who contributed towards the purchase.
