Full length portrait of a man wearing a green coat, black breeches and a buff waistcoat.

The subject stands with his hat and a stick by a tree in a landscape. The portrait was at one time thought to be Lord Archibald Hamilton though later research established the sitter as the 1st Marquess of Donegall.
