King William III & Queen Mary II by Sir Godfrey Kneller

These two paintings were a crucial part of the royalist conception for the Picture Gallery at Temple Newsam, forming the great centrepiece of the picture hang and complimenting the royal portraits incorporated as plaster medallions in relief on the ceiling.
