Eleven manuscripts; 10 Persian, 1 Sanskrit.

Three are volumes of calligraphy. While none of them can be considered rare, they are all illuminated and well written. Works of special interest include an allegoric Masnavi poem by Fattãhi Nishãpuri with miniatures and illuminated title page copied in the 16th century in a fine small Nastalik hand; a Masnavi poem by Assãr Tabrizi copied in a fine hand, 16th - 17th century and a Divãn, or collected poems by Kãtibi. One of two bequests to four museums by P C Manuk and G M Coles through the Art Fund between 1948 and 1949.
