Two coins: 1) A miliarensis of Julian the Apostate.

A realistic portrait of the Emperor, with full moustache and beard, on the reverse is a design of victory. 2) A miliarensis of Gracian.

Provenance

From a hoard of twenty silver miliarenses and 396 silver silquae which was discovered at Bromham in Wiltshire in March 1981 and subsequently declared Treasure Trove at an inquest in Devizes.
