A porcelain pot of bombe form with cover and shaped stand, the ground salmon with gilt stars and seed pearls.

Called a bough pot because it is designed to hold boughs or flowers. The panels including the scene 'Cupid disarmed by Euphrosyne' painted by James Banford, William Billingsley and, probably, Zachariah Boreman.

Provenance

Little is known of the pot's history; it has recently returned from America and was previously unrecorded.
