The collection includes dining- and coffee-tables, armchairs, sofa-units, stools, a double bed, book-shelves, cupboards, carpets, curtains and cushions.

The furniture was made posthumously following designs by Frank Lloyd Wright. The museum returned the collection to the donors in 2011 as there were other higher-quality examples of works designed by Lloyd Wright in the V&A collection.

Provenance

From the Feldman House in Berkeley, California, which was originally designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Louis N. Bell in 1938, but only built in 1974.
