Cast bronze with traces of gilding.

Decoration: monsters and female figures in openwork; gothic cresting round the top. The subject probably suggested by an engraving by Andrea Mantegna. One of five gifts to two museums by H. J. Pfungst through the Art Fund between 1904 and 1906.
