Metal detectorists discovered this hoard of eight Iron Age gold coins near Wokefield, West Berkshire, in 2017.

The coins are known as Selsey Two-Faced staters, and feature a design on both sides. All eight have a three-tailed running horse on one face, while the reverse sides show a range of figures and symbols, including shapes resembling a chicken and a stalk of wheat or barley.

The coins now join more than a dozen other local coin hoards held by West Berkshire Museum.
