This collection of 51 studies by Owen Jones is a rare example of original work by one of the 19th century’s most important designers and theorists.

Jones is most famous for his interiors for the 1851 Great Exhibition and for his highly influential book, The Grammar of Ornament (1856). He was a pioneer of design education and ideas on modern decoration. His teachings later became central to the Arts & Crafts movement.
