Suite of furniture (20 chairs, 4 settees and a day bed), richly carved, gilded and upholstered.
Originally made for the gallery in Temple Newsam, now restored to it.
Provenance
Lord Halifax sold the mansion to Leeds Corporation in 1922. The suite was lent to his brother in law, Lord Bingley.
