Summer Morning, Froxfield, Petersfield by Allan Gwynne-Jones

A qualified solicitor who fought at the Battle of the Somme, Allan Gwynne-Jones turned down a career in law to pursue his love of painting, becoming a Royal Academician in 1956 and being appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire two years before his death.
