A putto kneeling and pulling a drapery.

He kneels to the right, his back turned towards the spectator, and pulls at the drapery with his left arm. Part of an album of drawings belonging to Lord James Cavendish MP (d 1741), son of the second Duke of Devonshire (1665-1729), founder of the great collection of drawings at Chatsworth. The collection of drawings form an interesting relic of the great age of collecting in England.
