This piece of kiln-formed glass was inspired by nature and the female form.

It features four bulbs bursting into life through a landscape formed from a womanÂ’s arm and breast. Jacquard has exhibited nationally and internationally and won first prize at the British Glass Biennale 2006. The Glass Museum aspires to collect and develop a comprehensive collection of British studio glass and this acquisition ensures the collection is current and relevant to glassmaking today, particularly with the growth of kiln-forming. This work was acquired with the support of the Art Fund with the assistance of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
