Godwin's work epitomises British aestheticism with its clean lines inspired by Japanese forms. These vases are decorated with Japanese inspired motifs: birds in rectangular fields bordered by floral and ornamental bands. The coffee table depicted on one of the vases is in the V&A's collection.
Christie's, 1980s; Paul Reeves. These works have been vetted by the Art Loss Register in 2008.
