Why do you have Facebook and Twitter sign-on buttons? Does this mean my wishlist is shared with my friends?

Signing in via Facebook and Twitter accounts is the most popular way of registering online, so we wanted to offer app users the ability to log in quickly and easily using their preferred social media account.

This does not mean that any information is shared automatically on your Facebook or Twitter profiles; it just means that you can connect with us quickly. You can only share your wishlists by email.

I don't want to register. Can I still use the Art Guide app?

Absolutely! You can skip the log-in phase by selecting the 'skip' link at the top right corner of the app. However, you won't be able to create a wishlist or recommend an exhibition or museum to other users.

I can't find exhibitions near where I live.

Once you have location services enabled on your device, you can use the 'nearby' function on the app, which shows you what museums are near you. Current and forthcoming exhibitions are listed on each venue page.

You can also use the 'trip planner' function which lets you set a location that you are visiting and will display any relevant exhibitions in the search results.

Although we endeavour to list as many exhibitions as possible, we unfortunately can't guarantee that all exhibitions will be listed. We do, however, try to include as many as possible, and certainly the best and most interesting on offer.
