Unknown artist, 1628–1644

Carpet bearing the arms of the Fremlin family, commissioned at Agra or Lahore by William Fremlin, an employee of the East India Company. Persian hunting design of beasts of prey and plants but the colouring is Indian. Condition worn and restored.
