Inscribed: 'Dayes delt, View of Fairlop Oak. Published. Oct 5 1796, by I.Stockdale, Piccadilly. Owen Sculpt.' The Fairlop Oak stood in the Forest of Hainault, Essex. It measured 36 ft. in circumference and spread over 300 ft.
