Art Funded by you
Untitled
Ruth Duckworth, 2006

© Ruth Duckworth/Thea Burger
This piece is an excellent example of her delicate porcelain sculptures based on a bridging form. In scale and outline it makes relationships with vessels and even domestic ceramics but in other aspects it might almost be a maquette for a much larger work. The work is an excellent addition to the University's strong academic ceramics collection.
