William George Simmonds, 1920–1925

This fine work of the artist craftsman WG Simmonds from Stroud presents the characteristics of the animals in a striking and masterly fashion. Harry Hardy Peach presented New Walk Museum with five works between 1925 and 1934 and presented the Museum of London with some broadsides in 1914.
