Two medallions of Constantius I

Medallions commemorating the defeat of Alectus and the recovery of Britain as a Roman province. Minted at Trier in the name of Constantius Caesar. One medal shows him in imperial robes, on the other he is identified with the god Hercules. On the reverse of both he wears military clothing and gestures towards a female figure, Victory personified.
