Torso of Vishnu

Unknown artist, 6th–7th century

A standing figure of the Hindu god Vishnu wearing a long dhoti with a vertical pleat and a thick sash, the left hand rests on the top of a mace or club. A rare example of the earliest period of sculpture in Cambodia, under Indian cultural influence.
