The Howard Grace Cup (or the Thomas a Becket Cup)

This font-shaped bowl of ivory has nearly cylindrical sides, and a short spreading foot. It is richly mounted with silver gilt and studded with pearls and garnets. Surmounting the cup are the figures of St George and the Dragon.
