The Farnley Hall Bird Book
Joseph Mallord William Turner, 1815–1816

17 mounts with 20 bird drawings for the book on ornithology by his friend Walter Fawkes of Farnley Hall, near Otley in Yorkshire, where Turner was a frequent visitor. Originally part of an identification kit with feathers, the drawings were remounted separately in an album in 1850.
