This bequest of eight paintings from the collection of Mrs Sarah McLeod through the Art Fund in 2001 complements and extends the Harris Museum and Art Gallery's 20th-century collection. Szentendre, a vibrant landscape by the Hungarian painter Bela Czobel, completes the bequest and continues the theme of strong colour notable throughout.
