Art Funded by you

Study of Trees (Sous-Bois)

Paul Cézanne, 1890–1900

© V&A Picture Library

The Department of Paintings in the Victoria and Albert Museum built up a small representative collection of modern foreign watercolours to illustrate the use of the medium by the English school. This fine example of Cezanne's dazzling late work is in exceptionally good condition and admirably enriches the collection.
