In 2003 the Art Fund gave a grant of £342,000 for the acquisition of the entire collection and archive of the Royal Photographic Society. These two works are part of the collection which was formed as a record of the Society's history and a history of photography. 1) Flowers and Fruit; 2) Ivory Cup and Fruit.
