Statue of an Athenian lady
Unknown artist, mid 5th century BC

Full-length statue of an Athenian lady. The marble is Pentelic, the arms are restored and the head, though replaced, belongs to the statue. The figure wears a Dorian peplos over a fine chiton with sleeves. It appears to be the school of Pheidias.
