Something of a Relationship III
David Reekie, 2009

Two male heads with beaky noses, small round ears and black eyes, each projecting from a tall oval stand with narrow horizontal corrugations. This piece carries on the artist's theme of relationships between people started with Different People and Envy of Others. The relationship is less confrontational in this piece and is more about the sympathy we can often find in a relationship no matter how tenuous! It is accompanied by a plywood template for aligning the two parts so that the heads appear to be in conversation.
