This work is painted in monochrome, with only a small stretch of sea and the lower part of the sky in colour. In the top-centre the ascending figure of Christ, with arms outstretched, is placed against the clouds. Below, standing and kneeling, are thirteen male figures in attitudes of wonder and devotion.
