Six Elizabethan silver-gilt dishes
Unknown artist, 1573–1574

Six fruit plates engraved with scenes from the story of Abraham or Isaac with a border of mermen and marine monsters and a rim of birds, beasts and foliage. Two escutcheons obliterated and the third has the arms of W Montagu. Silversmith monogram FR.
