Unknown artist, 20th century

Portrait-relief gem of woman in profile to right. Hair in ribbon under 2 rows of curls, plaited at back and tied in loop at nape of neck. Closely resembles Sainte-Chapelle cameo identified as Agrippina, wife of Germanicus and mother of Caligula. Subsequently discovered to be a forgery.
