Three quarter length seated portrait of the member of Parliament for Penzance. The subject wears a pale-lavender coat and is seated cross-kneed on a green damask-covered chair. His left hand is tucked into a crimson waistcoat lavishly trimmed with gold, while his right rests on a black tricorn on his knee.
