This head and shoulders study in a painted oval is of a girl in a blue silk dress, wearing blue earrings, against a brown background. Her complexion is fair, her eyes dark blue and her hair dark brown. One of twenty seven gifts to seven museums by A E Anderson through the Art Fund between 1922 and 1938.
