Pair of oviform jugs with cylindrical necks and gilt angular handles. Painted by J Smith of Bronseley. Decorated with martial trophies commemorative of the Wenlock Volunteers, formed when Britain declared war on Napoleon in 1793. Inscribed: VIRTUTI NIHIL OBSTAT ET ARMIS.
