The mug is decorated with a relief design of two children, one tickling the other awake with a feather. The crest on the silver mount if that of Arthur Chichester, 1st Marquess of Donegall and the family had long associations with Belfast. Purchased by the Art Fund with the assistance of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
