An ebonised and brass inlaid timepiece with foldaway brass carrying handle over tambour frieze and arched glazed panel enclosing circular enamel dial with gilt engraved mask, glazed sides, movement signed, on plinth with bun feet. Part of a bequest to five museums by Lionel Hewlett through the Art Fund in 1995.
