L'Eglise de Vetheuil or The Church at Vetheuil

Claude Monet, 1880

The picture is one of many painted by Monet at Vetheuil, to which he moved in 1878. It had long been in the possession of a Hampshire family and made a fine addition to the Southampton Gallery's collection of French and English Impressionist paintings.
