Illustrations to the Book of Job

William Blake, 1823–1826

This rare and valuable proof set of 21 engravings is considered by some to be Blake's masterpiece. The illustrations were offered to Watford Museum in recognition of their special interest in printing. The book was one of the latest examples of the poet-engraver's work before his death.
