
The bowl is composed of pale turquoise-blue fused glass strings. It was donated by Nicholas and Judith Goodison to the Fitzwilliam and forms part of their third gift in a continuing series of gifts through the Art Fund to the Fitzwilliam Museum. Sir Nicholas and Lady Goodison are committed supporters of contemporary craft and have collected many items of contemporary and applied art.
