Helmet

Unknown artist, 6th century BC

A Corinthian type helmet hammered from a single sheet which made it far more resistant. It has a simple domed form with a long noseguard, almond shaped eyes and an off-set neckguard. The edge of the helmet is pierced with holes for attaching a lining.
