Sir Richard Rivington Holmes

Holmes was known as a landscape artist and this drawing was presented to the museum by his nephew, Sir Charles Holmes. Sir Richard Rivington Holmes had become Keeper of the QueenÂ’s Pictures and Librarian to Queen Victoria at Windsor Castle.
