George III silver-gilt cup and cover
Unknown artist, 1837–1838
Cup decorated with thistles, a thistle-head forming the finial of the lid. Inscribed with: 'Presented by the Officers of the 10th Regiment St Andrew's Militia of the Island of Barbados to Colonel Richard Morris in Testimony of their high repect for his efficient Gentlemanly and URBANE CONDUCT AS THEIR COMMANDER coupled with the strongest affection and regard for his worth as their Friend. 11th April 1838.'
